The video of the amazing Judi Anteby was shot during one day in June 2012. We had three locations to cover and because this video was meant to look shot as one continuous shot the main challenge was the break down of the different shots. Some of the shots have Judi showing up twice in different clothes for that we had to keep the camera at the same position and had Judi change the cloths again and again. Same goes for make up we had to put and remove Judi’s makeup several times. Check out the time-lapse of the filming day...

It’s finally done! I had the idea for this piece for a very long time, but different circumstances kept me from completing it. At its most basic concept the idea was to shift gravity around while the camera is aligned with the subject through the entire time of the shooting. So the First step was to find a place that can provide me such movement, steady movement that can be repeated for many times with the camera and the subject attached. Luckily, i like to hang out in bars and the entrance into the bartenders are is a long piece of wooded board that goes up and down, moreover, a wooden board can be a perfect mach for my clamp...

This project was shot with no script or pre-production. We decided to shoot the video on the day before and the original plan was to shoot during the day in a bar. We gathered on the next day with the band members and started shooting. The main idea behind the initial shooting was to get all the band members to sing and and still behave like they are in a bar environment, that worked pretty well, though the song was much more happier and energetic than the resulting footage, the next step was getting the band members to preform in an other role then their own, so singer switches with bass and the guitar with the drums and so on.   On a nice fall day, I decided to take my newly assembled hexa-copter to it’s first outdoor test flight. We got to a nice open field outside of Saratoga Springs, NY and gave it a try… The steering was a bit off and the controls were not fully optimized, never the less, after a couple of tries i got it up in the air and gained some confidence. Followed that came the decision to attach the GoPro camera. The attachment of the GoPro was a complete improvisation that included two rubber band that attach the GoPro to the bottom of the hexa-copter’s shell, so eventually i ended up have a GoPro as my new landing...

A music video made for the “Blue Pill” band (Israel), The concept of the traveling around the world was inspired by the lyrics of the song. I found myself relating to those lyrics as i travel a lot, so i decided to try and visualize this song into an animation. But the idea was to create something a bit more than a standard animated video clip. In this case a decided to take a bit different approach: instead of animation every element in the scene, like the tree, cars, etc. connected the different attributes of the elements to different audio tracks and then converted the volume of each track into a numeric representation. A music video that was shot for the debut album of the Israeli band “Blue Pill”. This song was divided into two main parts: the band and the main character. For each one of the part a separate time line and script was created. The band is playing in an empty, big, black space, this was shot in a big hall with most of the sport light are center above the band, creating hard shadows on their faces. this king of lighting setup created hot spots on the floor which allowed the band members to step in and out from the light.
